Beera is a large traditional Victorian farmhouse built in the 1840’s set in the heart of the Tamar Valley, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty in Devon. The farm is part of the Hardicot Estate consisting of some 3000 acres and was once owned by the Duke of Bedford.
The farm yard and house was used in the making of the BBC TV drama ‘The VET’.
The farm is a 180 acre working beef and sheep farm on the banks of the river Tamar rising from 30 - 100 metres above sea level. The land is mainly in grass with some Barley, grown for livestock feed for the winter.

Milton Abbot has a 15th century Church with a beautiful oak lychgate, a general store, pub and post office.
The Eden Project at St Austell, numerous golf courses (one with driving range), Family Fun Parks such as Dobwalls Steam Railway or Trethorne Leisure Farm. Other places of interest include The National Marine Aquarium and glass works at the Barbican Plymouth, Dingles Steam Village, Paignton Zoo, Woodlands Adventure Park and Babbacombe Model Village.
