Felicity and Roger Jobson offer a warm welcome to visitors from all parts of the UK and overseas.
Riverside House is a 17th century house in an idyllic, tranquil setting overlooking Washbourne Creek.
It’s an ideal place to unwind and just watch the wildlife.
There are two double bedrooms with balconies overlooking the river; one en-suite and the other with a private shower room.
You are welcome to relax in the sitting room, or sit in the garden by the river.
Breakfast is informal, either “en famille” in the farmhouse kitchen, or in fine weather, by the water’s edge.
Breakfasts are imaginative – the traditional English breakfast if you wish, but also several tasty options. We use fresh local produce when we can.

There are two excellent pubs within walking distance, and some delightful walks along the river.
The charming towns of Totnes, Dartmouth, Kingsbridge, Modbury and Salcombe are nearby, and you can explore the many beaches to the south, and walk or ride over Dartmoor to the west.
There are many excellent restaurants in the area, and, whilst we don't guarantee it, the weather here does seem to be better than other parts of the UK!
